Some of the Year 6 boys travelled to Grantham on Wednesday to take part in a rugby match.
It was a fantastic match played with enthusiasm and in great spirit from both sides. Copthill raced into an early lead with a try from Tommy Gee which was converted by Euan Hunter. Grantham fought back to take the lead with 2 try's, one of which was converted.
The team talk at half-time rejuvenated the Copthill boys and they scored 3 further try's, the last being converted to win the match 24-12.
Iron men were Seb Cheales & William Ibbotson and player of the match was Euan Hunter.
Well done to all the boys who took part.
Mr Smith
